When you do whatever you do to turn it back on, does it re-appear in the place you had put it, or somewhere else? You mentioned a 2nd monitor when the toolbar disappears, try minimizing AutoCAD on that 2nd monitor to see if the toolbar is floating "under" AutoCAD. ![]() If the right one, type TOOLPALETTES at the command line. Is the toolbar actually disappearing or is it moving to another location? Right-click in a blank toolbar area and see if the checkmark is still there next to the toolbar name. did you pick on If the left one, there should be a shrunk-down bar for it over on the by default left edge, that you can pick on and find the similar icon that aims the other way. Have you (or would you, could you) consider(ed) a Repair and/or Re-install, on the chance that maybe something got mucked up during installation? Not that this would be a solution, but why not just let it turn on and off automatically with use of the command? The strange thing about this particular toolbar is that it has always had a special "on/off relationship" with the Refedit command.
